YRewrite

YRewrite

YRewrite was primarily designed to support multi domain websites (if you want to manage multiple domains within just one REDAXO instance), but of course it is useful for simple websites, too.

The preferences are focused on essential options and are easily to maintain. Any domain requires a mount point, a starting article and—in case you use multiple languages—a starting language. With YRewrite it is easy for instance to set up a .de domain for german language and a .com domain for english language. When it comes to SEO, you can provide values for both the title schema and the default meta description.

Multiple domains and redirects

Furthermore, YRewrite comes with features to manage alias domains, which means sending 301 redirects on corresponding domains as well as on specified articles. The required htaccess file will be generated by YRewrite within a mouse click.

In case you don’t care that much about SEO and URL refinement, and especially if you have to manage multiple domains, YRewrite may be the perfect solution for you.
